Company History

3rd Generation Masonry Ltd. Is a longtime family business specializing in bricks, blocks, and stone work in the Durham and Clarington areas. John Van Londen began his masonry career as a young labourer in the early 1960's in his father’s company. Working alongside old time skilled masters, Mr. Van Londen quickly discovered early in his training that he had a gift for stone craftsmanship. Combining his natural talent and strong business ethics, Mr. Van Londen took over the family business and now has 40 years experience behind him.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Terry Van Londen, now carries on the family legacy. At age 14, he started to labour for his father and grandfather. Quickly picking up the trade, he mastered the art of brick and stone work and now is in partnership with his father.

Today, 3rd Generation Masonry Ltd. is respected in Durham Region and surrounding areas as a source for masonry craftsmanship.
